Lunch at the Crossroads
  Details: Lunch at the Crossroads is offered the third Friday of each month at Grass Valley United Methodist Church, 236 South Church Street in Grass Valley. In addition to lunch there will be free food giveaways and free "gently used clothes" available. The next meal will be served January 15th.

The 3rd Annual 9/11 Freedom Walk

  Details: Become a Locavore. What's that?... you may be thinking. A locavore consumes vegetables and produce grown locally. You can do this by stopping at our area's Farmer's Markets. The Marysville Friday Night Market happens in Marysville on D st, between first and third streets from 5:30- 8:30. The Yuba City Certified Farmers Market happens Saturday mornings from 8am- noon at the Fountain park on Plumas in Yuba City and the Plumas Lake Farmer's Market at Eufay (you-fay) Wood Sr Park on Zanes Dr from 8am - noon and the Brownsville Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 9am till noon behind the Brownsville Fire Station
